“非凡乐队”成立于2002年，是当前活跃在海内外国际音乐舞台上现代民乐组合的代表之一，成员均由在各自专业领域中颇有造诣，影响力的青年女演奏家组成。他们作为现代民乐的时尚代表和先驱者，为中国当代乐坛带来了一股爽人的清风。“非凡”突破了传统民族器乐的表现形式，在立足于中国本土文化精粹的同时，敏锐地领悟并表达最新流行感觉。主要作品多以广为人知的民歌、名曲为元素进行创新，借助现代电子音乐的烘托以及她们绚丽的舞台风姿，炫目的演奏技巧，且奏且歌且舞的动感演绎，让浪漫的激情与鲜活的个性在传统音乐的革新中得以释放与显现。“非凡”踏着昨夜的星光和今晨的花露一路走来，她们跨界于传统与时尚、古典与现代之间，在弘扬与推广传统民乐的同时，尝试把民乐流行化与通俗化。其勇于探索的足迹清晰而又美丽；在民族音乐的发展史上，她们属于继往开来的新一代。
“非凡乐队”与整个时代相呼应的音乐主张和艺术实践，得到了广泛的认可。自成立以来，她们先后参加了全国各省及地区举办的上百场大型晚会演出，参加中央电视台四套国际频道《2003年春节晚会》；中国教育电视台《2003年春节晚会》；天津电视台2003～2006年《春节晚会》；2005年《精彩中国》八省市春节晚会。2006年《中央电视台春节歌舞晚会》;“世界环球小姐”颁奖晚会；首届“中国体育电影周”颁奖晚会等知名栏目录制；2005年中央人民广播电台《直播中国》栏目为她们作了一个半小时的直播专访，引起强烈轰动。“非凡乐队”在中央电视台和地方电视台众多电视晚会和文艺栏目中频频出镜，《人民日报》、《北京日报》、《北京晚报》、《北京娱乐信报》等全国各地方报纸、网站及《央视新闻联播》相继对非凡乐队做了详细的报导，她们成为当代乐坛的一道独特靓丽的风景线。
当全世界将关注的目光从雅典转移到北京的时候，2004年“非凡乐队”力挫群芳，作为唯一的器乐节目，代表北京市政府参加在美国、英国、巴西、阿根廷、悉尼、西班牙、日本、韩国、泰国等国家举办的以奥运为主题的“新北京、新时尚”世界巡演活动；2005年作为北京旅游形象使者参加在英国举办的“风情北京、舞动伦敦”大型盛装活动，英国50万市民参加了此次活动，“非凡”的精彩演出在当地引起轰动，并受到了英国王室的赞誉与接见。2004年她们成功地举办了《非凡之夜》专场音乐会。2005年“非凡乐队”发行了《非凡动力》首张专辑。2006年第二张专辑发行。
“非凡乐队”的足迹遍布了南美洲、欧洲、亚洲等众多国家及地区，她们在履行神圣文化使命的同时显示出自己虔诚的爱乐精神和艺术个性，并由此获得了越来越大的跨界影响力。

When the whole worleworld turned its eyes from Athens to Beijing, in 2004, after defeating many competitors, the Band joined the performance tour all over the world in the Theme of "New Beijing and New Fashion" held by counties such as Brazil, Argentina., America, Spain, Sydney, Thailand, Japan, Korea, and so on, as the only representative of instrumental music program, on behalf of Beijing municipal Government; In 2005, as the image envoy of Beijing's tourism, they joined the large-scale beautiful attire activity held in the U.K. in the title of "Romantic Beijing and Dancing londonLondon", with the attendance of 500,000 citizens of the U.K. The Band’s excellent performance created a sensation in the local place, and they were praised and interviewed by the British royal family .In2004, they held a special concert “Night of Feel Fine” successfully.
